Beach Wall for Good Fences # 6

A wall rather than a fence but it achieves the same goal.

We spotted this beauty on our walk along the beach last weekend.  I can only imagine how much time and effort went into collecting and building this wonderful barrier between the property and the sea.

  1. A pretty fence! Is it just me, it seems out of place at the beach.. Unless it keeps the high water away. Have a happy day!

    1. Yes, it is an unusual find at the beach, but I think it would be a pretty solid barrier against the sea.

  2. Now that is an unusual fence. Looks like it could stand up quite well to an angry ocean.

  4. A beautiful piece of rock work. I feel sure it has kept the ocean from 'nibbling' away some value real estate.

  9. i love stone fences... they're always so strong looking and make such an impression on the property. i'm sure it took quite awhile to build this one though.

also, your views of the farm (post below) is beautiful... i wouldn't want to leave that spot for the peacefulness it surely brings... have a great day~
