Lambs

Once the lambs get a couple of weeks old they tend to congregate and play like children with anything that looks a bit different.

This little overbridge and drain was a great source of fun while they were in this paddock.

They were up and down and over and round.  Very entertaining to watch, and it gave the mothers a nice break too.

  10. What a great batch of lambs. Our sheep are getting a bit long in the tooth and being English Leicester as well as Suffolk crosses, have their lambs too late in the season to be useful as income. We are in the process of switching to fine wool Merinos. I am too old to run the farm anymore so, since my daughter is away around the world teaching so much, my granddaughter& husband and my grandson are taking over. Granddaughter is a wool classer and her husband a really good and careful shearer. My grandson is great at fixing windmills and machines as well as fencing. Life is just so nice living on a farm.
Thanks for your comment and sorry about your tulips.I was away recently and my dog buried my old shoes in different places. It took quite a while to locate and put them in the bin.
